Aquaterra - Gemini
AquaTerra Solutions Ltd is a leading global provider of
specialist services for projects involving work-at-height and
complex access, offering training, equipment and personnel to the
oil and gas industry.
NEED
Before speaking to Codify, Aquaterra were a largely paper-based
company. Raising a single job would require them to manually
generate four pieces of paper. James Grosset, Operations Director
at AquaTerra identified the need for an alternative, more
streamlined solution. They already worked to ISO standards so had
processes in place and simply required a 'one-stop-shop' system to
streamline the business.
AquaTerra looked at some off the shelf systems but none of them
were capable of the task. They then approached us and we got to
grips with their business and their overall requirements to suggest
an appropriate solution now called Gemini.
Solution
Gemini is a multi-user, web-based business management system
designed to:
- Streamline management of jobs from enquiry through to
completion
- Remove duplication
- Automate manual processes
- Provide fast, reliable access to data
The system manages a range of business areas from personnel and
enquiries to quotes and training.

James Grosset explains, "Codify was chosen for the job after
coming up with the preferred proposal - Gemini works exceptionally
well and can conveniently be accessed from both home and the
office. It's one of the first things I access in the morning.
He adds, "The timesheets are used by our accounts team who
couldn't live without it. We also use the reference numbers
generated by Gemini throughout the organisation, for example in
emails, meetings and document references. Using Gemini allows
everyone to access the exact same, up-to-date information
easily."
