Aberdeen firm achieves Microsoft certification
Aberdeen based software solution company, Codify, today Monday
15 May 2006, announce that they have received certification from
Microsoft confirming their competence in the area of custom
development solutions. Following an extensive approval process
Codify is now a certified Microsoft partner with a competency in
Custom Development Solutions.
Mark Griffiths, managing director of Codify says, "We provide
our clients with custom software solutions; being certified as a
Microsoft partner with a competency in Custom Development Solutions
is recognition of the level of service and expertise that we
provide to our customers. The Custom Development Solutions
competency differentiates our software development capabilities and
demonstrates, to existing and potential clients, that we provide
value added solutions."
In order to gain the competency in Customer Development
Solutions Codify needed to provide Microsoft with detailed
information on their products, the technology that had been used to
create them and which industry the products were targeting.
Mark adds, "In addition it was also necessary to supply
Microsoft with a customer reference; this aspect of the competence
assessment process shows that the software has been developed with
'real' customers and not hypothetical simulations. Our reference
was provided by asset management support company, Latent Ltd."
Peter Adam operations manager of Latent Ltd comments, "We have
worked with Codify to develop two pieces of asset management
software, Profi-C and Look-C. Profi-C is an asset modelling and
benchmarking software package designed primarily for use in the oil
and gas industry and Look-C is a historical maintenance performance
review package. As part of the certification process myself and my
colleague, Dr Atholl Campbell, were asked questions based on our
satisfaction with the work and efficacy. We were pleased to commend
the work performed by Codify as it has added great value to the
services which we deliver to our Oil and Gas Clients".
