New post created at Codify
Codify has created a new post in its Aberdeen office. Martin
Livingstone joins Codify as a Senior Software Developer. The post
has been created as a result of an increase in business for Codify
in its Aberdeen office. Codify is an Aberdeen based software
solution company providing a range of companies, including clients
in the oil and gas industry, with custom software solutions. The
new post brings the total workforce employed by Codify to ten.
The new Senior Software Developer post has been created as a
result of increased business for Codify following recent contract
wins. There are plans in place to develop Codify throughout 2006,
with one existing vacancy and several additional positions expected
to be created in the coming twelve months.
Mark Griffiths, Managing Director of Codify comments, "Since
Codify was founded in 2000 the company has continued to go from
strength to strength. We are continually using and implementing
cutting edge developments to ensure that our clients remain at the
forefront of software technologies. Martin will play an important
role in making sure that we are able to provide our clients with a
consistently high level of service whilst adding to our client base
in a sustainable way, and we are keen to draw on his experience to
further develop and define our strategy to ensure that we remain a
dynamic company and achieve our corporate goals."
Martin, who is 35, was born in Aberdeen and is a former pupil of
Bridge of Don Academy. Having graduated with a first class degree
in Physics in 1992 from Heriot Watt University, and remained there
to complete a PhD in the subject, he then moved to Reading to work
as a Senior Scientist with the Atomic Weapons Establishment. From
there he moved to a post as a software developer for an Oxfordshire
based company, but soon returned to his native Aberdeen where he
took up a post with Kildrummy Technologies as a Software
Engineer.
On his appointment with Codify, Martin comments: "Codify is an
early adopter of the most recent Microsoft technologies, so I'm
really excited about being given the opportunity to use these
cutting-edge technologies for custom software development, and look
forward to transferring the skills I've developed in my various
posts to date, to my role as Senior Software Developer at Codify.
Codify is committed to providing clients with a high level of
service and I welcome the chance to be part of a dynamic,
forward-looking company."
