CODIFY ACHIEVE OVER 80% GROWTH FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS
Software solutions company, Codify, announce their 2008/2009 results. Turnover for
the year ending March 2009 was in excess of £1.7 million which represents an 85%
increase in turnover from the previous year. This success shows a pattern emerging
for the growing company as it is the second year in a row an increase over 80% has
been reported.
Codify has enjoyed a significant period of growth and expansion in the last 18 months
which is evident in its expanding workforce. An additional 13 members of staff have
joined Codify since the start of 2008 which takes the latest count to 27. Plans
for 2009 see staff numbers increasing to approximately 35 which ties in with the
company’s planned relocation to Migvie House this summer.
Mark Griffiths, Managing Director of Codify says, “The growth we have experienced
has surpassed our expectations – especially since the economic downturn took effect at the
end of the year.”
To sustain this growth Codify has increased the range of Microsoft software services
they offer. Initially focused purely on bespoke software, Codify now include Microsoft
Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX in their offering.
As these packages are highly customisable, Codify’s development background allows
them to deliver solutions fast, without re-inventing the wheel, and able to customise
Dynamics to exactly fit their customers’ needs.
Two projects completed in the last six months have caught the eye of Microsoft who
have decided they are worthy of case studies to publicise how their technologies
can be used in innovative yet practical business solutions.
The first, a major Dynamics AX implementation, has resulted in significant performance
improvements for Codify's client. One particular process was reduced from 3 weeks of
manual processing to just a few hours.
The second, a bespoke system for offshore logistics, has streamlined the client's
manifest process. The use of Silverlight, a low impact interface technology from
Microsoft, has allowed the software to be used successfully from offshore giving
the users there the same experience as those onshore.
Codify will also be exhibiting at Offshore Europe this year. Their stand, C31, will
give visitors a taste of what can be achieved through business software and the
benefits it can bring to an organisation.
