CODIFY RETAINS IIP STATUS
Aberdeen based business software specialists, Codify, continue to meet the requirements
of the Investors in People (IIP) Standard. Codify successfully passed their review
on 7th August 2009, a milestone which recognises the business's commitment to continual
business improvement via staff development.
The IIP standard is a business improvement tool designed to advance an organisation's
performance through its people. "The review provides feedback from staff about how
they perceive Codify, we can evaluate their comments and introduce changes to further
enhance business policy and procedures," explains Codify's Business Manager, Emma
Thomson. "By listening to our people we reap the benefit of high staff retention
and improved performance."
"Following the review, we were pleased to hear that our company was found to demonstrate
strengths in a number of areas including; business strategy, learning and development,
people management, recognition & reward and involvement & empowerment. The review
also revealed that communication is effective at all levels and there is a strong
mutual desire to deliver good quality solutions to meet customer expectations,"
continues Emma.
Codify continue to commit to the IIP standard and look forward to working towards
bronze accreditation.
