SOFTWARE GEMS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESSES

Good software can have a positive impact on any business however the perception that is often held amongst business people is that software can be an expensive overhead. However, many companies may be unaware that professional software exists in the marketplace that is very low cost or even free to use. Mark Griffiths, managing director of software solutions company Codify, unveils a few such 'software gems' that small to medium sized businesses can utilise to improve their business processes.

TWO NORTH EAST COMPANIES SEAL SIX-FIGURE DEAL

Codify, a software solutions company based in Aberdeen, today announces a major contract worth in the region of £500,000 to build a bespoke software system using the latest Microsoft Dynamics CRM technology for Freelance World. The deal signifies a period of growth for Codify as the company is poised to add an extra floor to their current office in Queens Terrace and create 5 new positions this year to bring the team to 30.

CODIFY FIRST TO USE LATEST MICROSOFT SOFTWARE ON CONTRACT WORTH £20,000

Aberdeen-based software solutions firm, Codify has embarked on a project to build bespoke software for SBS Marine as part of a contract worth around £20,000. It's the latest in a long line of contracts the Aberdeen-based software solutions company has secured recently. Microsoft has just released version 4 of its Dynamics product and Codify will be the first to use it to benefit SBS Marine's HR function.
